Jeff Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering as well as a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mr. Tyler has over 10 years’ experience in the management, design, and construction oversight of infrastructure related projects. He has extensive experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopak, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS. He has experience in the review and approval of plans, building permits, CLOMR/LOMRs, and floodplain development permits.
Mr. Tyler has worked from 2005 to 2012 in the engineering consulting business performing major and minor design of roadways, channels, and storm sewer. In the private sector, Mr. Tyler developed modeling and design skills working on and managing projects with public entities such as the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the City of San Antonio (COSA), Bexar County, Harris County Flood Control District, and the City of Dallas (COD). Mr. Tyler was routinely in charge of design team tasks, invoicing, billing, marketing, and interagency coordination.
From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Tyler has spent his career managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects in design, construction, and management. This includes the solicitation of design firms, managing design teams and subsequent sub-consultant groups, construction solicitation, construction management, managing invoicing and budgets. Other tasks include extensive public outreach, reporting, and the occasional design tasks. Projects included dam rehabilitation, park restoration, storm water quantity, storm water quality, greenway trails, and master planning. It also entailed a multitude of contracts both upstream and downstream in the business chain.
In March 2017, Mr. Tyler joined T-Core Engineers full-time to provide his experience and expertise in the areas of management, design, and construction oversight.

T-Core performs management, design, and construction oversight of infrastructure-related projects with an emphasis in the management, roadway, and drainage areas of expertise. T-Core understands that technology plays a tremendous roll in transforming the engineering professional services industry and, as such, has invested in becoming technically proficient in the latest design tools available to the market.
A San Antonio native, Kaycie Tyler became President of T-Core Engineers in January 2017, just over 4 years after founding the company with Jeff Tyler in December 2012. Mrs. Tyler brings a diverse business background to T-Core having served in various roles for over a decade in both the corporate and nonprofit sector. Her most recent endeavor is her consulting company which she began in November 2014. As a consultant, Mrs. Tyler assists clients with filling areas of need within their business and specializes in identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, particularly with regard to finances. Her focus has primarily been on startup businesses and nonprofits looking to establish or re-establish a strong foundation on which to operate. This experience and her myriad of skills make her the ideal leader for an up and coming engineering firm such as T-Core.
Prior to launching her consulting business, Mrs. Tyler dedicated her career to the nonprofit field. While fulfilling her passion to serve others, Mrs. Tyler thrived working in many different capacities including fundraising, grant procurement and management, major event management, program development, outcomes and accountability management, administration, human resources, and accounting. Mrs. Tyler was key in developing systems and procedures that enabled the organization to operate efficiently and, thus, remain focused on its mission. Most recently, she joined an inner city arts nonprofit that was days away from closing its doors and brought it out of imminent demise with her aptitude and experience. In addition to rebuilding its financial state, she secured the funding required to expand its facilities three-fold and enabled the programs to grow participation by over 100%.
Mrs. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.
